Tyson Beckford spoke on Bill Cosby being accused of crimes from decades ago, which led to Beckford and Vlad speaking on money grabs. Tyson spoke on an instance involving a car accident where a woman walked behind his car to try and get paid, but switched her story on what leg got hit. As a result, the judge called out her story and the case was dismissed.
Tyson Beckford came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he and Vlad started off reminiscing about their time living in New Jersey, where they were neighbors. From there, Tyson spoke about growing up in Jamaica until he was 7, and then his family moved back to the Bronx. He explained that he was teased for his Jamaican accent when he first moved back, and Tyson added that kids would call him “Mr. Chin” because of his eyes. The Joe Rogan Experience, which is downloaded nearly 200 million times per month and makes $30 million annually, will only be uploaded to Spotify starting in September. Rogan’s YouTube channel will no longer host full episodes.
It’s a victory for Spotify, which is aggressively building out a podcast empire to compete with the likes of Apple and Google. The deal is reportedly worth over $100 million.
